Ms. Dr. Liu Xiaohong is Professor of Law in Faculty of International Law of East China University of Politics and Law (ECUPL) and Tutor for LL.M. candidates. She teaches the courses of International Commercial Arbitration and Private International Law for both undergraduate students and LLM students. She was appointed the Head of Private International Law Section and Vice Dean of Faculty of International Law. Currently, Ms. Liu is the Director of International Exchange Center, ECUPL. She is also Arbitrator of Shanghai Arbitration Commission, member of the Chinese Law Society and member of the Chinese Private International Law Society.

                    Ms. Liu has written extensively in many fields, she was the co-author of 10 works, among which are "Conflict Law",  "International Economic Law", "Private International Law and International Economic Law", " Commercial Arbitration Law", and the author of more then 20 articles in reputable law journals.

Ms. Liu received her first degree in law (1987) and her LL.M (1990) from the East China University of Politics and Law, where she is now Ph.D. candidate. Ms. Liu had been doing her research as a visiting scholar at Law School of Ghent University of Belgium (1995-1996), and has lectured as a visiting professor in Law School of University of Wisconsin, Law School of University of San Francisco (1999) in the United States. She won the Award of Excellent University Young Teacher of Shanghai Municipality and the Annual Excellent University Young Teacher Scholarship (1999) of Huo Yingdong Education Fund by the Ministry of Education Of P.R.
